Facebook’s Prime Posting Times

On weekdays, 3 a.m., 10 a.m., and noon are optimal times to make a Facebook post.

  • Schedule your Facebook updates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for maximum engagement.
  • Saturdays are the worst days to make a Facebook post.

Marketers worldwide utilize Facebook, but in 2022 we saw a fascinating shift when people were engaging with posts. Early mornings now seem more popular than midmornings did in previous years.

Comparing this year’s statistics to last year’s, we can see that Facebook has a few more “off” periods. Brands have found that early and midday on weekdays are far more advantageous times to get eyes on their content, with early mornings showing the most consistent interaction.

The top periods displayed are in US Central Time. Thus the high engagement shown in the early mornings, in addition to the conventional US workday, shows Facebook’s substantial global audience. Just what does this imply? In expanding a social media campaign across multiple countries, Facebook continues to provide promising openings.

Schedule Your Instagram Posts for Maximum Engagement

Instagram posts do best when published at 11 a.m. on Mondays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.

In 2020 and 2021, Instagram grew rapidly; by early 2022, it had 2 billion active monthly users. There is no disputing Instagram’s staying power, especially as it rolls out new services and strengthens current ones, although competition for short-form video content from TikTok is heating up. Instagram Videos have been given new life with the addition of support for 60-minute videos, and Reels have made it simpler to make and find videos on the app.

Comparatively, Instagram’s peak posting periods grew in 2021, much like Facebook’s other widely used app, WhatsApp. Midday participation during weekdays became denser, with best hours ranging between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., while nights and weekends still exhibited increasing opportunities for engagement.

Instagram remains an avenue for discovering new brands, products, and services. The app’s user base is evolving in response to the addition or improvement of e-commerce capabilities. A weekly shopping frequency of 44% is the norm for app users. It seems sensible to add shopping features to the app on a network whose foundation is sharing high-quality photographs.

However, brands shouldn’t ignore Instagram if that’s where their customers congregate. Highlight products or display your brand’s distinctive design with infographics by using this platform. By uploading a wide variety of material on Instagram, you can reach and interact with your audience in countless ways.
